Protein Tests offer rapid and reliable way to monitor biological contamination on surfaces

Delivering simplicity and affordability through innovation

SystemSURE Plus™ Swab Testing

The SystemSURE Plus ATP luminometer

is the next generation of the best selling

SystemSURE II. Designed with state-of-the-

art electronics and improved functionality this

palm-sized system is easy to use, extremely sensitive

and affordabe.

Used by large and small food processors, hospitals, restaurat, supermarkets, and other industries where rapid detection of comtamination is critical; the SystemSURE Plus allows companies to quickly determine the cleaning efficiency and hygienic status of surfaces and water, ensure product quality, and reduce costs.

How does the SystemSURE Plus Work?

In conjunction with Ultrasnap™ and Aquasnap™

testing devices, SystemSURE Plus measures adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the universal energy molecule found in all animal, plant, bacterial, yeast, and mold cells. Residues, particularly food or organic residue, contain large amounts of ATP. Microbial contamination also contains ATP, but in smaller amounts.

After cleaning, all sources of ATP should be significantly reduced. When ATP is brought into contact with Hygiena's unique, liquid-stable luciferase/luciferin reagent in the Ultrasnap or Aquasnap testing device, light is emmitted in direct proportion to the amount of ATP present. SystemSURE Plus measures the amount of light generated and provides information on the level of contamination in just seconds.

The higher the reading, the more contamination present. Assessing the cleanliness of a surface immediately after cleaning ensures contamination has been removed. Depending on the industry, this system will help protect quality, extend product shelf life, prevent cross-contamination, enable immediate corrective anction and/or avoid recalls.

ATP hygiene monitoring provides accurate and traceable verification of the hygienic status of a surface or water, which is a key component of a good hygiene program. ATP testing is a universally recognised tool used by the world's largest and smallest companies for measuring the hygienic status of surfaces and water in order to ensure product consistency and safety.

Testing devices

UltraSnap™ is a user-friendly, all-in-one ATP surface test used with the Hygiena ATP Cleaning Verification System. This pen-sized sample collection device is easy to use, small, and environmentally friendly. In just 15 seconds, UltraSnap helps to verify the cleanliness of environmental surfaces and medical equipment.

AquaSnap Total measures total organic contamination (ATP from organic and microbial sources) in a water sample. The easy-to-use test validates cleaning effectiveness of endoscopes by detecting any residual contamination in flushed water samples from inner channels or hard-to-clean elevator channels of duodenoscopes. The specifically designed dipper tip collects 100 µl of water ensuring consistent sample collection from test to test. AquaSnap is convenient, economical, and gives real-time results. Ensuring the effectiveness of cleaning procedures helps to facilitate successful high-level disinfection and sterilization.
